There were 841 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.56 billion and HK$2.86 billion, or 11.62% and 9.33% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 27.96% and 44.08% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.59 billion and HK$2.01 billion of short sales, accounting for 8.44% and 6.54% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 40.7% and 18.71% of respective stock's turnover.
