HSI extends its drop to 1,000+ pts and is now at 22,110

[ET Net News Agency, 8 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
1,000 points, or 1,006 points to 22,093. The Hang Seng Index now fell 989 points, or 4.3%
to 22,110; with market turnover of 49.38b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell
389 points, or 4.7% to 7,941; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 361 points, or 6.7% to
5,025.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now fell HK$13.5, or 6.3% to HK$199.7, with turnover of HK$2.2b;
BABA-W (09988) fell HK$5.9, or 5.1% to HK$108.7, with turnover of HK$3.13b; AIA (01299)
fell HK$3.35, or 4.6% to HK$68.8, with turnover of HK$1.92b. (ed)
