HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 22,534

[ET Net News Agency, 8 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
500 points, or 514 points to 22,585. The Hang Seng Index now fell 565 points, or 2.4% to
22,534; with market turnover of 31.86b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell 207
points, or 2.5% to 8,122; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 218 points, or 4.1% to 5,168.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now fell HK$8.2, or 3.8% to HK$205, with turnover of HK$1.61b; BABA-W
(09988) fell HK$4.1, or 3.6% to HK$110.5, with turnover of HK$1.81b; AIA (01299) fell
HK$2.95, or 4.1% to HK$69.2, with turnover of HK$1.71b. (ed)
