HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 20,581

[ET Net News Agency, 18 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 502 points to 20,581. The Hang Seng Index now rose 502 points, or 2.5% to
20,581; with market turnover of 137.78b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
202 points, or 2.8% to 7,382; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 172 points, or 4% to
4,522.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$11.4, or 6.7% to HK$181.6, with turnover of HK$5.21b;
TENCENT (00700) rose HK$16.8, or 4.1% to HK$429.4, with turnover of HK$5.56b; XIAOMI-W
(01810) rose HK$1.15, or 5% to HK$24.25, with turnover of HK$2.37b. (ed)
