HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 21,637

[ET Net News Agency, 2 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 503 points to 21,636. The Hang Seng Index now rose 503 points, or 2.4% to
21,636; with market turnover of 24.4b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 207
points, or 2.8% to 7,717; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 202 points, or 4.3% to 4,953.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$11.3, or 6.6% to HK$183.3, with turnover of HK$2.09b;
BABA-W (09988) rose HK$3, or 2.7% to HK$113, with turnover of HK$1.69b; HKEX (00388) rose
HK$21, or 6.4% to HK$347.2, with turnover of HK$1.11b. (ed)
