HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 19,560

[ET Net News Agency, 2 January 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 19,559. The Hang Seng Index now fell 500 points, or 2.5% to
19,559; with market turnover of 44.78b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell 217
points, or 3% to 7,072; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 106 points, or 2.4% to 4,361.
CCB (00939) now fell HK$0.24, or 3.8% to HK$6.03, with turnover of HK$1.08b; MEITUAN-W
(03690) fell HK$3.2, or 2.1% to HK$148.5, with turnover of HK$1.15b; BABA-W (09988) fell
HK$1.45, or 1.8% to HK$80.95, with turnover of HK$1.16b. (ed)
