HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 26,888

[ET Net News Agency, 2 February 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 26,886. The Hang Seng Index now fell 499 points, or 1.8% to
26,887; with market turnover of 125.31b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell
190 points, or 2% to 9,126; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 157 points, or 2.8% to
5,560.
BABA-W (09988) now fell HK$2.8, or 1.7% to HK$166.4, with turnover of HK$4.21b; HSBC
HOLDINGS (00005) fell HK$1.9, or 1.4% to HK$134.7, with turnover of HK$666.35m; BYD
COMPANY (01211) fell HK$5.25, or 5.4% to HK$92.5, with turnover of HK$1.71b. (ed)
