There were 861 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$14.11 billion and HK$4.78 billion, or 21.07% and 7.14% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 52.61% and 29.81% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$2.91 billion and HK$2.8 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.35% and 4.19% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 12.67% and 41.17% of respective stock's turnover.
