There were 816 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.55 billion and HK$1.01 billion, or 10.34% and 6.74% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 54.01% and 17.75% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$645.3 million and HK$633.8 million of short sales, accounting for 4.3% and 4.22% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 13.27% and 11.06% of respective stock's turnover.
