HK$83.19 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$7.79 billion, or 9.36% of the
market's turnover. There were 636 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$346.16 million and HK$329.14
million, or 4.45% and 4.23% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 18.45% and 15.5% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and XI2CSOPHSTECH (07552) registered HK$300.17 million and HK$289.86
million of short sales, accounting for 3.85% and 3.72% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 13.62% and 42.81% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.26, or 1.26%, to HK$20.94. BABA-W ended up HK$1.7, or 1.77%,
to HK$97.75. MEITUAN-W rose HK$1.5, or 0.8% to HK$189.2. XI2CSOPHSTECH declined by
HK$0.126, or 3.95%, to HK$3.06.
