[ET Net News Agency, 30 January 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$301.61 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$49.04 billion, or 16.26% of the
market's turnover. There were 834 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$8.97 billion and HK$4.41
billion, or 18.29% and 9% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 53.28% and 44.13% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and CSPC PHARMA (01093) registered HK$2.16 billion and HK$1.27
billion of short sales, accounting for 4.41% and 2.59% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 21.87% and 22.87% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.58, or 2.06%, to HK$27.6. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.68, or
1.73%, to HK$95.38. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.105, or 1.84% to HK$5.605. CSPC PHARMA declined
by HK$1.09, or 10.2%, to HK$9.6.
