Description
As this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the whole city celebrates it. Bank of China Hong Kong's "Financial Management TrendyToo" and New Town Plaza will work together from September 25 to October 31 to present " The largest LEGO® three-dimensional scene model "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" and an exhibition of works by LEGO® professional certified master Hong Zijian". The exhibition will display for the first time the LEGO® three-dimensional scene model of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" that has attracted much attention in the city, and will also display a number of giant LEGO® sculpture models with traditional Chinese cultural characteristics, including "Dragon Walking the World", Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the national treasure giant panda and "Panda Twin Treasure".
The highlight of this exhibition is the LEGO® three-dimensional scene model of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", which is 26 meters long and 1.78 meters wide, and is constructed using nearly 3 million LEGO® particles. BOCHK and Master Andy started planning and preparation at the beginning of the year, and officially put it together in May. It meticulously presented the spring scenery of the countryside, the waterscape of the Bianhe River and the city street scene of Bianjing, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty. This handed down painting by the Song Dynasty painter Zhang Zeduan, Three-dimensional and vivid in front of everyone's eyes. One of the highlights of this exhibition is the "Bianshui Hongqiao". Above the Bianhe River, which runs through the streets on both sides of the river, there is a "Hongqiao" that spans both sides and can accommodate large ships to pass through. This bridge has no piers or pillars. It relies only on wooden frames that overlap each other and are fixed with ropes. The entire Hongqiao does not require the use of a single nail, which fully demonstrates the superb bridge construction technology of the time. Together with the "city tower", "Sunyang Store" and "hotel" that were first displayed in the underground lobby of the Bank of China Building last month, they form a prosperous scene in Bianjing City. BOCHK also invited Dr. Li Juntong, an art lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and an expert on the history of Chinese painting, to personally lead the "Public Guided Tour of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," a masterpiece in the world", allowing the public to gain an in-depth understanding of life in and around Bianjing at that time. , and the historical significance of handed down works.
