Barrier Busters 2024 – Barrier-free City Explorer

“Barrier Busters” is an annual signature event of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR) that aims to promote community education on barrier-free and inclusion while raising funds to support our various rehabilitation services taking care of persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses and the elderly.

The event this year will be comprised of 2 parts — city-orienteering experiential teams and a full-day carnival with game booths, workshops and exhibitions, intended to deliver the concept and importance of “Universal Designs” which are beneficial to the person with and without disabilities, with an ultimate goal of moving towards a caring, barrier-free and inclusive community.

Let’s join together on the event day to break physical, psychological and social barriers and co-create an inclusive with care, support and understanding society.
