The annual event, 'Hong Kong Songkran Festival 2026', fully supported by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hong Kong and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, will be held at PMQ in Central from 3 to 5 April.
This year, the event will take place at the cultural landmark PMQ, offering a full-immersion Thai experience. Highlights include the traditional Bathing Buddha and Offering Alms to Monks ceremonies, allowing citizens to experience the blessing spirit of Songkran - 'washing away troubles and welcoming good luck' in the bustling city; the highly anticipated 'Songkran Miss Election' and 'Songkran Hunk Election' will witness the birth of the annual vitality stars; there will also be a 'Chatuchak-style Market' and a 'Bangkok Street Food Zone', offering everything from handmade cultural creations to authentic Thai skewers and mango sticky rice, instantly transporting your taste buds to Thailand. In addition, the venue will feature a traditional Thai costume experience zone, where visitors can roam the venue in gorgeous Thai attire; and for those who need a break, there will be authentic Thai massages available to relieve fatigue.
